Job Description
  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational objectives.
  2. Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions.
  3. Manage vendor relationships and performance, including conducting regular reviews and resolving issues.
  4. Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and requirements.
  5. Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and manage inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.
  7. Analyze market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend improvements to procurement processes.
  8. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate budgeting and cost tracking.
  9. Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices in procurement management.
  10. Lead, mentor, and develop procurement staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
