Qualification and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, Bsc. CSIT or any other related technical discipline.
Prior work experience of 5+ years as JAVA engineer with relevant experience in spring framework and its stack.
Knowledge in Core Java fundamental, Programming Concepts, Design patterns and principles.
Hands on experience in Spring Framework and its stack.
Knowledge in Relational Databases including SQL query writing and data manipulation.
Knowledge of Version Control System.
Knowledge of CI/CD Tools.
Basic knowledge of Front-end stack and other Application layers.
Knowledge of Unit Testing frameworks and experience with integration and end-to-end testing.
Experience with message brokers or event streaming tools.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Write well-designed, efficient and testable code.
Collaborate with other developers and cross-functional teams.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices.
Work on system integration and understand overall system architecture.
Design and implement database schema and write efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance.
Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
Write unit tests and participate in integration testing and ensure code quality through automated and manual testing process.
Create and maintain technical documentation for the code base and document Apis and other relevant system components.
Optimize existing code for better performance.
Stay updated on latest Java advancements and apply them to the code base when appropriate.
Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment and attend and actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives.
Adhere to security best practices in coding and ensure the security of applications.
Provide guidance and mentor junior developers.
Share knowledge and contribute to the collective learning of the team.
Monitor and analyze system performance for improvements.
Research on new tech stack for continuous improvements of the product.
