Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a plastics manufacturing environment (Injection Moulding and Extrusion).
Strong knowledge of production planning, machine maintenance, and quality control.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficient in production cost monitoring and process improvement.
Effective communication and reporting abilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Management
Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient planning and scheduling of operations.
Monitor daily production activities to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and achieve production targets.
2. Machine/Dies Maintenance
Supervise regular maintenance of machines and dies to ensure smooth operations.
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues in the Injection Moulding and Extrusion departments.
Work closely with the maintenance team to minimize equipment breakdowns and ensure high productivity.
3. Quality Control
Implement quality control measures to maintain product standards and minimize defects.
Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
Develop and maintain quality documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
4. Production Efficiency & Quality Improvement
Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and propose corrective actions.
Develop strategies to improve product quality and consistency.
Train and guide production staff on quality assurance processes and best practices.
5. Dispatch & Logistics
Oversee the dispatch of finished products to ensure timely delivery to customers.
Coordinate with the logistics team for smooth transportation and handling of goods.
6. Cost Monitoring & Savings
Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
Recommend process optimizations and material usage improvements to reduce waste and expenses.
7. Reporting
Prepare regular reports on production, quality control, maintenance, and dispatch activities.
Present findings and updates to the Director, highlighting key achievements and challenges.
